Sliding was fun but jumping required too much timing to be enjoyable. I like the visual style.

It was fun - liked the look of it - really hard to jump over those cactus - would love to have gotten further!

My purple-haired character was enjoying the romp through the open air until a combination of bird and cactus blocked the path quite thoroughly!~ Blood spurting from the scalp, I pressed them on, into the grasslands, and then into the forest! Then death swiftly came... while I had switched tabs on accident. Fun little game, needs a bit more variety though! :D

This game is... I can't describe it... IS AWESOME!!! The pixel art style, the no-sense audio, the game in essence...
... This is a game that knows what is good.

Haha, I finally got to the grasslands evolution because I was lucky enough to have an expanse of empty desert for a few seconds... Way too difficult, but with some balancing it has potential!

I think it was a great idea (That doesn't really match the theme, but anyway), but things does not really work out when your viewport's the smallest you've ever used! D:

The idea of combining sliding and jumping is nice, but the game is too hard. Too bad, would like to enjoy jumping over cactus a little more :) The pixel art style is a good fit for the game, good job on that.

The physics could use some polishing. I liked the graphics style, but it took a while for my eyes to differentiate between objects and the background.

The controls could use a bit of tweaking, especially the jumping (the sliding was perfect though, also - the pixel sand kicking up during sliding - awesome!). Visual style is awesome, needs a tiny tweak and it would be awesome :)

It was too hard to jump. Besides that, I found the music to be quite annoying (don't know if it was intetional though). COuldn't see how this relate to evolution, but this is maybe because I didn't play it enoguh.

+ graphics are ok-ish
+ it's nice that you changed so many backgrounds and tunes

- why can I run back and forth? why can I go right in front and not see what's going to come my way? There's no running back and forth in Bit Trip: Runner, or Canabalt or Robot Unicorn Attack
- white seagull on white city background
- evolution?

* at the very end the framerate dropped abruptly - I dunno if that was on purpose or not...

Honestly bro?
What were you thinking?
I know evolution was a challenging theme,But this was a Jam entry! This looked like it took 25 minutes to make. The core design is too simple. 3 button controls? I don't know why, But compared to other LD games, I've just seen better. Seriously, Try harder.

Hey nice little game here. Simple approach, yet fun to play. Music was good and in keeping with the style of the game (apart from at the first screen which was a bit frantic but better after I turned down my sound!!!). Anyways, liked the sliding and the jumping seemed fine to me. Nice touch with the birds blending so well against the city background, made them a bit harder to spot. Kept me playing to the end (unlike some games!!). Good job!
