Air Fighter by ghostonline
In this game, you are in control of an experimental aircraft, able to absorb technology and reapply its component directly in the field. In time, your craft will be able to evolve its weapon systems to better combat the assailants.
Control with the arrow keys, shoot with 'Z'. If you damage an enemy aircraft enough, it will catch fire and becomes vulnerable for absorption. Move your aircraft closer to steal its remaining shield energy and any tech it contains. When you have collected enough, your weapon systems will evolve. In its final stage, the projectiles will have a small area of effect upon detonation.
Be careful when approaching burning enemy crafts, though. They might be damaged, but are still able to attack. Note that the kamikaze fighters are too fast to be hit. You will have to dodge them until they run out of fuel.

I'll try later!
Like I think the collision area of the players ship is bigger that the ship it self although it should be a lot smaller.
You could have added some better movements to the enemy ships and make them randomly appear so they are less predictable.
The kamikaze ships are not shootable. There is no shmup where you can't shoot an enemy. It's a nice idea though to have them because they make you move a lot, but at the same time you need to have more bullets on screen thus make them harder to avoid. This is a basic shmup concept and it makes the game fun to play!
I could not find anything that evolves in this game nor I found upgrades.
Anyway please countinue this project. I love shmups!
I liked the rockets because they moved at a speed where, most of the times I got hit by them I felt like it was my fault (not all the time though; they could be a smidge slower) and I think, why not let the player try to shoot them? Then again, that would make there be no point in not always shooting, and those games can be annoying.
Also, I didn't feel like the missiles where really a step up from the spread-shot.
Overall, nice work! :)
