the Fisherman by dagothig
Before anything, the tools: Notepad++ for the programming, Gimp for graphics and Chrome for testing.
the Fisherman is *thrilling* game of fishing, where your goal is to slowly evolve your modest fishing ship into a master of the sea, collecting 10 000 gold pieces!
Be careful however... as your ship grows, so does the envy for it!...
that's the theory of the game at least... due to time restraints (oh noes, who would've thought that could happen! :P) there are very few parts to buy. Sadly the core of my link between the theme and the game was how your ship would "evolve" as you got richer and bought more parts and made it bigger and better. With only 1 or 2 pieces to buy per type, that concept is completely lost...
Also, the game has been tested very little and is likely to be kinda buggy in some parts. But it should be winnable at least.
Tips for playing:
the longer distance you travel, the more new shops will buy your fish more at a higher rate.
Also, the game goal is actually 10000, not a million, didn't have time to change the sadly crappy title screen.

Graphics are also very nice and fit well together.
Definite wow-moment was when the wind suddenly ceased and I couldn't move :D
