Nice game. The tree "upgrades" should be done as buttons, because I can't see whether I'm misclicking or don't have enough resources. :) Anything else is great.

I had a hard time figuring out when I could click the buttons (or is a button?)

Interesting concept. I had trouble figuring out when I could upgrade my tree.

Nice game, having to click those little objects was a bit frustrating.

Ehh... the objects pop up too slowly.

Interesting. I got my tree up to a bit after your tree in the image above. If I was to give any advice it would be to make sure that what the player is getting in return for whatever must be worth it. Continually grabbing the same stuff in the same way will get boring if nothing changes between the stages, especially if you're asking for more of it the next stage. I thought the random rain/sun shower was nice to break this up, but wouldn't be nice enough to keep the players attention for too long, and I'm a patient gamer.

I'm glad you didn't give up. A lot of people do, the first time. Make sure to come back next time with another entry!

Interesting, could use a tutorial and the sounds were quite annoying. But the background graphics were nice!

It took me a LONG time just to figure out how to gather resources, because I expected that to happen when they fell on the seedling, like real life, and because the clicks don't always seem to register, so I tried clicking the resources at first but nothing happened. Maybe you should make it easier on the player and increase the resources' hit boxes.

As for the gameplay, this seems like it could be well-suited as a relaxing, don't-do-much game. I think you could make it more fun by making it like other relaxing hobbies, like fishing, where you pretty much do nothing for most of it.

So, you could make it more fun by requiring much, much fewer resources between each upgrade and spawning them much LESS frequently and making them easier to click (and move slower). I know that seems unintuitive but I think that here, since you are just requiring a fairly mindless follow-and-click action from the player, you don't want to draw attention to that by having the player do it a lot.

I thought it was innovative, although not very close to the theme, since you are growing and not evolving, and you really don't even have much choice in the matter. You can choose what order you level up each of the three attributes before unlocking the next level, but you can't go on growing roots forever or grow leaves until you topple.

I really liked how the resources spawned faster as you grew more roots and leaves. Makes sense :).

Overall, good job!

Very nice for a first try. Interesting. It kept me going for a while, but when I saw I needed 125 for the next stge it was too daunting. maybe add something that can damage your trees for more variety? I'm alos not sure if the collision detection is accurate.

The mouseclick hitboxes were indeed a bit weird (they seemed to be aligned below the actual graphics?). But it's a nice gam e overall, would be great for mobile platforms.

Suffers from unnecessarily strict hit detection on the sun and water pickups. Love the idea, though.
