Germ Wars by Lawrence Esswood

I think I bit off a bit more than I could chew XD. Content cut =(. But I'm pretty impressed I managed to get it done, even though it is horribly balanced.

You can play as either Bacteria or Antibodies, and you need to use their unique skills to both destroy other cells and then reach their deployment spot. Of course first you have to evolve your cell to have certain mutations and upgrades to make them more powerfull, using 'DNA' points. Use the tooltip, its basically all there is tutorial wise.

I also entered into kongregate's competition - but in an effort to keep it seperate did not include the link above. If you want to go rate it there, for better or worse, here it is: http://www.kongregate.com/games/LEsswood/germ-wars

Where are all the comments?

Hey good game. It took a few minutes to get but once I did I got my ass kicked. Going to try again on idiot :)

The sound was nice, I found I was humming it after.

Good job, Nice entry dude!

Really interesting game, liked the music. A bit too deliberately paced for me, everything seemed to take a long time but required me to be constantly moving guys up and clicking deploy. Would have been nice to have some amount of automation (maybe just setting a waypoint and having your cell slowly move that direction on its own) and possibly multiple deploy points.

Nice concept, it's a bit difficult to get into but fits the theme well. Might be nice if it was a bit slower paced to begin with but good work overall.

Took me quite some time to get started on this one. After i got it it was fun. There is a lot of clicking involved. A great plus were the setting for map size and difficulty. I thing it would be a good idea to let the cells move in the direction of a mouse click.
