Controlling the game is next to impossible, but the cat sound effect worth it! :) Also, the shader is nice on the vision changes.

The effects when you change form are great. The puzzle is well made but when I die the food doesn't reset which makes it impossible to continue. Maybe more visual cues to know what is where but besides that the idea is very nice. Good job!

I think I missed something but I don't find the way to shapeshift. Is that an action we're supposed to do in the first level ?

You have to collect a special item and use 1,2,3 to shapeshift into corresponding animal. Sorry, hadn't noticed that there is no description for it... =)

Nice color theme, shadow maps would have needed more resolution; the FOV was strange too (but that may be intentional). Liked the concept a lot, but could not get past the first room, even with the tutorial hints, which were a nice touch.

Actually there are no shadow maps, as we haven't had that much time to add them. So these all are real time shadows (and that's why the game can work a bit slowly on some computers). FOV is intentional indeed. I know about difficult level design and really hope to find some time in the future to make game flow more intuitive.

like the shader effects and some of the different, subtle powers of the forms (dogs being able to locate food for instance). Needs a sound effect or something when food or a new form is collected; I got the flea form and didn't even realize it.

Sorry, but I couldn't really get far. I had unlocked cat and dog shape, got to the second room, but didn't progress further and couldn't even get a fabled flea (a shame, because I was curious what SFX had the flea). The mechanics felt really weird, and I kept getting all these informative panels despite already having used the subject or something, and I couldn't really tell the useful items apart from decorations, nothing really sparkled with importance to me, I was just going in circles and couldn't even find anything really useful. I felt like I was in hunt for something, but couldn't even tell where exactly I should expect it...

Also, the game worked rather slow and laggy to me. Maybe make desktop versions for graphics-intensive games? I doubt browsers have particularly great performance...

The game looks like it could be interesting, but somehow I got little idea what was going on or what I was supposed to do, and clunky mechanics didn't help. Sorry. >.<

Cool game...

I wasn't as desperate as the other players concerning the controls. It could have been better, but it was okay for me.

The different point of view of the animals was awesomely awesome. It really makes your game stand out.

I think the floor and walls are missing a little texture, because you don't always feel like your walking, because it has the same colour.

Some collisions were very strange. Maybe the animal is too small, because you can fit in very thin gaps, even when your a dog. When you jump (especially the cat) and you land on a fin gap, you drop to the ground... It's really strange.

I think the game also lack a little indication on where you should go. I like exploring, but I regularly felt completely lost, not knowing if the next room was really ahead or if I was the wrong way. The room disposition wasn't linear, so you should be more clear on what is the correct way. Especially the last room : I really though I was in the wrong place, because there seemed to be a invisible wall (I understood later that it was actually supposed to be glass). I was lucky to find the solution accidentally looking for food.

Speaking of food : the food is never reset, but you can shape shift as much as you want. That can create situation were you're stuck, and that's a bad thing. So I decided to shape-shift as little as possible, only when it was absolutely necessary. It's a good thing you wanted to limit the frequency of shape-shifting, but not too much, because it's a big mechanic of the game. You should have had food that re appears when you die, after a certain time, or have a reset-room button. It will avoid this problem, and I could have played around with the mechanics how I wanted without preventing me from progressing.

Funny jumping-effects and flea "foot"-steps. I would have loved a little more, but I always want more so it's not really your fault.

Good job to you three!

PS : I really love the LabRadDog logo! That's what made me click on your game.

The different visuals were great, but it was too hard to control the jumps. I don't think that using the food to limit the number of transformations was a good idea, since the whole point is to use the different forms for different tasks but the energy system discourages trying out the different forms to figure out which one works best. Maybe make use find all the food in order to open a secret door or something instead?

Very nice entry! The visuals are great (some nice noir atmosphere) and the controls feel intuitive. I would like to play this as a download! Well done!

Overall, very fun little game. Nice sound effects. I mostly agree with Swynfel, I think the two things it was mostly lacking were a sense of where to go and the fact that the food never reset meant you could get stuck (particularly early on) and have to quit/reload the game to keep going.

Oh, and I LOVED how your vision switched from one animal to another.

Very interesting concept. The mouse movement was to coarse. I liked the different visuals and abilities very much. Maybe limiting the number of transformations was not a good idea. I got always stuck, when I had no food to transform but needed to transform to reach higher food. But awesome idea.
