Kings of the Archipelago by feyleaf

It wasn't finished. It's still fun, though, if you push objectives aside and just use your imagination.

The goal would be to eliminate the members of the other species on the map, evolving through breeding to become more adept at surviving different hardships. That didn't really happen. There are no hardships, only that moving, breeding and fighting work and will drain your creatures' HP.

great graphics, but yeah I don't think it was really finished enough.

Pretty awesome! Nice isometric gfx. A bit too complex but keep working on it! There is definitely a lot of potential here, just waiting for more polish and simplification. Great job.

I love the graphics and use of color. For some reason, I get a 60's vibe...

That's a nice set of graphics ! I think you should next time focus on a very small playable game, add options step by step so you can end the compo with a playble version.

Some seriously trippy shit here. I bred my jellyfish with its dead compatriot to produce an army of monsters. I don't know what happened, but I enjoyed it.

Fantastic graphics, but seems like it was too much for 48 hours. Don't get discouraged, though, keep developing it!

I like the isometric graphics - very nice. The interface is a little hard to use - I wasn't initially sure what all the stats and buttons were and how to use them, although I figured them out. There isn't a lot to play here - obviously some goals or an AI would help. Looks like a great start, though, and visually very nice.

Nice idea, sadly you could not finish the other features. It's a bit strange to control all creatures together, instead selecting one at start. But moving, fighting and breeding looks fine (even a turtle died after breeding... is this your message to the world? xD)

You should make a post-compo-version to include the missing parts you mentioned!

Visually it's very nice and it's a good concept that fits the theme. Would be great to see it in a more complete state eventually.

I think you are in the right path, the hexagonal board is great and the "biological" system seems to work ,add some gameplay and serious features ;)

Sorry, I don't have Windows to test it out.
