Sun Save World by castor
Written in ActionScript 3 with Flixel, GIMP 2 and FL Studio 8.
I'd like to say that it didn't take me 48 hours, but it almost did!
The only control is mouse movement to direct sunlight.
The humans need plants to survive.
Stimulate plant growth with sunlight from the cursor.
Attempt to sustain life as long as possible.
Flixel 2.55 required to build source.
Edit (7/5/2012): Apologies, I had to change the web link because I was having some problems hosting my game. Game is completely unchanged, of course.

While it is a rather small amount of land I suspect someone was betting on 'Growing' or possibly 'Artificial life' being the theme ;)
The last human stood in a pile of dead bodies and refused to die, I don't want to think about what he was eating...
I had fun! :)
Scored 264 on the first attempt...the last human to survive the Great Migration spent the remainder of his life living a hellish existence all alone, slowly eating what remained.
...I don't know if allowing the plants to breed would be a good idea or not. It would be difficult to prevent someone from gaming the system.
Very moody, very ominous. I liked it a lot.
Nice audio :)
This was a great take on the theme, though I wish there weren't a finite end to the game. It gives less reason to replay somehow, and lacks a skill element.
As a narrative though, it's excellent.
