Tiny Basket World by stromchin
Plays on unity webplayer.
Unfortunatelly it's lacking a lot of polish.
This is one of the first things I've made in unity3D, and I kind of like it more now.
I think this game is fun mostly when doing something else, like talking on skype with someone
Software used:
- Unity3D (I love it now, but I want to try getting some plugins and experimenting more with it)
- Blender 3D for the basket ring, and for the net. The net gave me a lot of trouble, and I had to remake it like 10 times due to me not understanding blender.
- Inkscape to draw the world
- paint.net to draw the net, and the guy
Theme: one could argue that this game is not much on the theme of a tiny world, and it might be true. It's probably the worst excuse for a "tiny world game" but if I had better drawing skills, the player would be god, playing with the world, and theme would fit it more.
I'm very limited by my lack of artistic skills, so I made a game that required as little graphics as possible.
Thank you all for your nice comments. I see that the main thing about my game is the addictiveness, and that's what I was going for. I'm trying to have a friend make some art for me, to try to make this into a real game.

Maybe I will remove a little bit of random though, but nothing else
not just in the sense of graphics. I've thought of many game modes, but I didn't have time to implement them. I will in the future though.
@everyone else: thanks for playing!
And I've played it a lot myself.
Note: Since this is a Compo entry, you have to provide the source code. http://www.ludumdare.com/compo/rules/
it's been here almost the whole time. Thanks for reminding me.
And well, I was also planning on making some kind of adventure/shooter with small planets, and then I panicked cause I thought I wasn't going to have time.
I also realized my limitations when it comes to graphics, so I decided to make something with more physics and almost no graphics.
