Very cool game. I liked the idea of resources running out, and you having to rebuild the resource buildings. Cool music. for some reason, I could not build the police station, though.

Clever little simcity-esque strategy game. I tried building a farm first, which didn't work out so well (mines are what you want to build for resources when you're starting, looks like).

The cursor was a little distracting, and the pop-up when I had too much money(!) was a little annoying, since I'd keep having too much money and had to hurry to place buildings so it would go away.

I love the idea and the sounds of this game, but it lacks a lot of polishment - 48h are short. :)
The music on the menu is awesome, but during the gameplay its too low compared to the sound effects and the starting phase is propably a bit too slow. Oh, and thanks for the development log - it was an interesting read.^^

I had a hard time making a thriving city unfortunately. My mines would randomly disappear and roads didn't seem to be doing anything special as far as I could tell.

This entry could have been improved with some more animation, better choice in fonts, and a better presentation or tutorial.

Thank you for this.

The music is great! Why is it so loud on the menu and so soft in the game though? :) I really like the screenshots, but I was not able to make any cities nearly that big. Mine all died pretty quick, and then I was in debt so I think I owe you 20 dollars!

Not bad, this was pretty fun! The audio levels on the sound effects and music were a little out of whack, the main menu music was really loud, and then the in game music was low, but the sound for destroying a building was really high. Just a minor issue.

I had trouble figuring out how things worked :(

Agree, volume problems, didn't even realize there WAS music during the game until reading here. Pretty good mechanic, took me 3 tries before I figured out a build order.

I really enjoyed this one, although I didn't get very far. In all the games I played I kept running out of resources. The farms and mines vanish after a while and you have o keep rebuilding them. Fun though!

I tried and tried and failed again and again :(
Cool menu music!
Seems a bit buggy, I mean my money, buildings disappear after a while and sometimes I can place 2 buildings at the same time
