Thanks DiscoFish! Most of the sounds are mouth noises, pitched up in Nitrotracker.

Also everyone, thanks for playing. I am making more levels as we speak; check back when you are not doing important things with your lives!

Wow... I'm guessing you came up with the idea while under laughing gas? ;-)

Wow that was really interesting. I'd like to see more levels, and that they get more complex as you go. But all in all I liked it. Also, the music is really interesting, i like it.

This. is. insane. Just wish it was longer! If it consisted on a bunch (3-5) of levels/minigames like the first one, I think it'd do great. I honestly love the weird art style and mood!

Truly in the indie spirit, but damn - too short!

My only complaint is that it's too short! really liked the idea and mechanics.

What is life but a continual search for escape of what ails us. The root canal as an allegory is a great way to cover the human condition. Bravo, sir.

Loved the mechanics, graphics and audio. Would make a great lengthier game, if only to reinforce the notion that life is not a short ordeal.

This is cool, but only one level? Seriously?

pretty cool. I like the sound/music and super low-fi graphics. I wish there were more levels though (the 2nd level in the post-compo was cool too)

The music in combination with the low-fi graphics and the simplicity of the game make me think this was taken from some sort of hacked NES cartridge that's possessed by a tooth-demon. Now what really creeps me out about this entry though, is that I say this in a good way... You've really managed to create quite a mood here.

Congratulations on a great entry! The graphics are great, nice responsive controls, and good mood and sounds. The theme is well addressed but as others have noted I'd happily play more and explore the mechanics of your space more thoroughly; poor Terry!

Thanks for the lovely comments, everyone. It's so heartening to have people play this weird thing.

I've added another level to the post-compo version, putting the total at 3! I have ideas for a few more; we will see! Next build: WIZARDS?

Excellent work on further development! In the post-compo levels, the visuals and multi-tasking/disparate elements to hold in mind border a bit on evil (to the extent of wanting to stop playing and take an indefinitely long break), but VVVVVV did that too (and, I think, somewhat less interestingly, as far as I have played).

Nice concept, if a little crazy. Love the graphics and overall style, just wish it was a little bigger.
