Seemed to be in a loop going up the platform tower with the slime underneath (where it said Don't look Down). Last thing the castle said was it wants to give me a chance, but I kept getting teleported back to where I got the eye thing. Nice mood though!

Cool game with a really creepy atmosphere! Really like how you used the theme, and the shifting castle works really well. Tripped me up more than a few times!

That was really awesome, I loved the style, and I loved the interpretation of shifting. Excellent work!

Clever Idea. My biggest problem with the game is that you use 'Thy' as old-timely equivalent of You. However, the correct word is 'Thee.' 'Thy' translates to 'Your'. I know that's nit-picky.

Good mood, balanced difficulty.
Sometimes you are kinda hard to control, but overall great job!

It was rather hard for me, but I think I'll finish later. I really liked the atmosphere of the game!

Was unable to fully test as the mouse controls were exceptional sensitive for me. I've got a control on my mouse that allows me to adjust sensitivity, but even at the lowest I was wildly swinging around making it hard to control where I was going.

A really nice game. Maybe you could've done a little more with sounds. That would've done a lot to the dark sinister ambient.
The funny thing: When you run down one of the stairs before the eye-key-thing you can get on the top of the castle by just jumping.

We made a small patch, fixed that thy-thee thing and some other typos. Also the checkpoint after eye key was fixed, so loop problem is no more.

Thanks for playing and leaving comments!

I wanted to add something to my teammate's comment. Thank you guys for your positive comments, as they really cheered up the team. As we were running out of time, due to some reallife problems, we were doing our entry in a rush, so many features planned were not implented, or were but in a very limited way. So our mood was really depresive after the submit, as we feared there will be just not enough content for the game to be enjoyable, and, including the fact The Castle was really unpolished due to the lack of time. But now we are extremely glad we could bring you some nice experience. Thank you, dear commentators for your comments, as they made us feel not so guilty for publishing The Castle, the game, which development was a real struggle.

Sincerely yours.
Nakolenke team.

I liked the idea, but the movement was a little off. I think it felt like I kept walking after I stopped pressing the direction. Great base game though.

I liked the shapeshifting castle idea as well as the general mood, though I'd prefer a different colour choice than a mix of red and green (plus, the handheld items don't really add to the mood, given their paint-ish style). Also, I'm not really a fan of platforming in general, and especially in 3D in first person perspective when I can't even see where my feet are (I had to make some jump by staring at the ground to make sure I time it right). ^^'

Aside from that, it seems like the castle really wants to sound like speaking in Shakespearean English, but doesn't really know how (given the omnipresent "thy", even though there should be some declension, and if I'm not mistaken the original form is "thou").

Overall not a bad entry. ^^'

Cool atmosphere! Could have really used a bit o creepy music tho. :)
Controls were a bit slippery (damn platform sliding). Creative texture usage.

So atmoshperic. I don't like games where you have must to "jump on the rocks", but in general it's great. Myabe it needs some soundesign.
