I didn't know what to do at first, then saw Chaoseed's comment about the hidden menu at the bottom.  I was playing the web version (filefactory wouldn't let me download it) and had to scroll down to see the bottom, which didn't help.  Once I got past that, the controls were pretty intuitive. The physics are fun to play with on their own.  It's sad that I feel like you might lose a lot of people from not having the menu obvious - I didn't find it until I read the comments here.  Making a little planet and having stuff flying around is inherently fun.
