made by Pyro for LD23 (COMPO)

Graphics are great! It's animation that you need :-)

There isn't much to do. Would have liked some sort of feedback for shooting those enemies.

Not much to interact with, but you knew that already.

Works fine on Windows (It's a Java .jar, for those wondering).

Make it possible with multiple projectiles at the same time, add a couple of additional enemy types and a boss --- and you got yourself a quite fun game.

There is potential in this, and it can become quite fun if you put a little extra work in it :)

(Also ran it on linux, java -jar tiny.jar worked fine with oracle jvm)

Did I miss the reference to the theme? Graphics are ok.

Has potential but like others have said, more enemies and some effects would be nice. Killing enemies didn't feel very satisfying due to the lack of response. But it's understandably unfinished so that's alright I guess.

the implementation so far was pretty solid, but I like the art style it already has, and it would be cool for you to take the game and complete it.

If you would finish it it could become a funny game, right now there is not a real point and enemies are to weak

there...wasn't really anything to do in this entry. the enemies don't hunt me, they die with one shot, no animation, no sound, i can only go forward till the end of the world and that's it :/. and then i go backwards and it's over. it's a start but still lot's of work

***I'm posting this on all non-browser games I bring up in an attempt to encourage folks to make browser games next time around. Do not take it personally.***

When hundreds of people make non-browser games, that means that, to play all of the entries, I would need to download hundreds of games to my computer. I typically use OS X, so Windows-only entries are particularly inconvenient.

Please consider making a browser game next time.

@devwil: Yes, you need to download games. Yes, some games are windows only, but normally you can get them working somehow (virtual pc?). I think the people out there should make the game they want to make, not only browser-games. Also they should work with the technology they like, not flash or html5. You should rate the game, not the plattform it is running on. And also: Do not spam...

Also, this game could run as Java Applet on the web :) It's also cross-plattform, you can play it on OS X too.

Nice start, but not yet a game (as you mention). I like the graphics.

Graphics are not bad at all! Controls are pretty smooth as well. Promising start.

I want a machine gun. This blaster sucks. :D And loads more monsters. Would definitely have been more entertaining if the pacing was more furious.

WINDOWS, to launch :
- make a file "{whatever}.bat" in the same directory than tiny.jar
- in the previous file : "start tiny.jar"

@Pyro: could you add this file to the archive ?

Otherwise, good work :)

Well done for creating and submitting a Ludum Dare entry. Admittedly, there's not much there currently but I'm sure if you get to spend some more time on it over the coming weeks it'll turn into something much better. Feedback, health bars, boss fights, enemies which can dodge / shoot back, etc.

Works, graphic style is good. I think it needs automatic upwards scrolling. Otherwise is't no real challenge.

It's a cool entry but needs some work. A finish line would make the game way better ;) (it would give an objective). Keep working on it!

Great start. I loved playing with the level file. Couldn't figure out how to shoot enemies so I just avoided them.

Congratulations on having balls to submit it. What you did is a good exercise, and potentially, a good start to a full game - why not continue it? The graphics are quite adequate.

I liked the graphics style, but it was a bit boring and there really wasnt much to do, also animations would have helped.
