"There should be 'TinyPlanetDefenseForce_Data'
folder next to the executable"
I really like this take on the theme, the graphics are good, its fun to play, and the humor holds your attention. I liked the music and sound effects. Overall it is a good entry, and feels like a complete game.
Fun concept anyway, though. :)
Yep, the music is annoying. :) This is what happens when I leave myself 30 minutes to install, learn to use, and produce music with Musagi. Sorry about that!
There's nothing that explicitly says to hold the fire button to charge the laser for Mechania, which is a failing of the game. There were plans for a "sucking" particle effect showing the laser charging up, but it was one of the things that got cut for time.
The fact that two different people are convinced that each of the different planets is better is a sign that I've set it up right. :)
(BTW, for the Microbial game you and a few others were having that empty-level-1 problem on - I added a "compatibility mode" exe to the latest download that fixes it - was a problem on certain graphics cards)
What doesn't work is that after an asteroid has been pushed out of the level it still can hit the planet, which feels arbitrary.
