Tiny Maze by Fififox

[raw]
made by Fififox for LD23 (COMPO)
Created in a few hours just before the end of the compo because of a failed attempt at making a roguelike in the previous thirty hours...

Warning: the game is hard, and doesn't forgive mistakes!

Have fun! :D

There is nothing like a back-to-the-roots maze avoider after all these fancy artists with their meta interpretations of Tiny Worlds and the philosophy of life.

5/5 On theme because the source is one tiny 8kb file. (Mine is 148 Mb -_-)

This is actually more frustrating than Super Meat Boy

Old-school and terribly addictive ! I love the fact that you can't actually quit the game with the mouse. FINISH THE MAZE YOU PLAYER DON'T QUIT !

I ended making something different than my first plan too :P

Judging from the 4 levels I played I think it's a good and simple maze game but very generic.

Reminds me of operation. I sucked at that game too.

Too bad about the Roguelike, but way to deliver on an entry. Also great to see a timelapse.

Argh! I really wanted to finish it but I ended up having to play with my touch-pad (my mouse sensitivity was waaaaay too high for this) and it really made my fore-arm tired. I made it to the level after the little screen shot you have (with the zig-zags...grrr!)

I agree, it's addictive and very fun and I love the simplicity of it! Great job :D (I have to wonder though...who else was expecting a loud 'unexpected' shock at the end of a hard level!? :P)

Simply moving the cursor to move the player to reach the end is unique. But I'm sure there are games that are familiar with its mechanics. On later mazes, the spaces between walls get smaller which makes the game more frustrating for me.

Good fun, but not very original.

I was scared a screaming face would show up at any time, lol

BTW, I'd personally prefer if white represented the passable tiles and greay represented the walls instead of the opposite, this made me confused by the start of the game.

Pretty fun. It took me a while to realize how to play. :(

Feels like occupational therapy, yet it is fun. It's surprising how hard this is.... and sort of embarrassing, considering how many years of my life I've spent mousing.

Haha! I cheated by moving the mouse excessively to the end block xD cool how you thought of moving the cursor back to the starting block. good job :D
