Nice game, but very hard. The water effect looks pretty nice tough.

Can't... let... the game... beat me...
I'm hooked. If I don't rate the other games that's your fault ;)

I see a successful iPhone game coming out from this game? You should port it :)

Solid game. I agree that this would be a successful iPhone game.

When I saw the screenshoot I thought the boat was a slime xDDD Great game, I find it quite hard at the begining, maybe it could be more progressive... and when I reset sometimes the boat crashes without even start to run :S

Haha, nice timewaster (in a good meaning of this word). Your game is a bit hard, or my hands are too slow for it. You should definitely make it a phone game!

Gaahhh, This game is annoyingly addictive. Would work well on a Ipad with the accelerometer for controls.
Great job.
Don't know how it relates to the theme tho..

Thank you everyone for the kind words.

I am working on an android release this week, just need a day of rest after the weekend. iPhone will be more difficult, but I'd love to make that happen.

My personal best score is 3555. Has anyone done better?

Regarding the theme: The idea was that you're playing in the 'tiny' world of a single leaf, trying to navigate a tiny stream of water, with the occasional firefly buzzing past you and lighting the way.

Great job! This game was totally fun, and also quite a challenge. Your voxel work makes it something outstanding.

Erm...when I double click it starts to open a wondow and then abruptly stops without even giving an error sign--it just blinks onto the screen for a split second.

There is definitely a prize if you beat 10000. More than one person can win the prize.

It looks good and plays alright. It would benefit from an analog control input - joystick or even h-axis on the mouse. Or possibly not instantly re-centering on key-up.

***I'm posting this on all non-browser games I bring up in an attempt to encourage folks to make browser games next time around. Do not take it personally.***

When hundreds of people make non-browser games, that means that, to play all of the entries, I would need to download hundreds of games to my computer. I typically use OS X, so Windows-only entries are particularly inconvenient.

Please consider making a browser game next time.

I have to say this game is really fun and addictive, but one slight problem, I don't see how this goes with the theme. The game is pretty awesome though! :D

Wow, really good! The narrow sections are really hard, but it's nothing that some tweaking on the collision side of things couldn't fix. I absolutely love how it looks, and it does seem to have a lot of room for adding cool stuff such as obstacles on the wide section or ramps for the leaf to jump from :D nicely done! I definitely can see it work as a mobile app.

I really enjoyed playing your game, I like challenging games and I liked this one. I think there should be a little bit more incentives to reach farest, maybe adding some color or music after some distance (of course is just my opinion). Thanks for the fun (my record ~5500).

Fun game, impressive style for a bunch of basic shapes. I got to around 2500 before I crapped out, is there actually a prize or is that an empty promise?
🎤 omaha
27. Apr 2012 · 13:13 UTC
These levels are in fact procedurally generated. They follow a sine wave of varying amplitude, with a random +/-1 added to give it the smaller details near the shore.

I ran out of time before I could test more complicated waveforms with varying frequency, but I'm working on an android version that includes that an much more :)

Thanks for the feedback!

Oh, and yes, there really is a prize if you reach 10000 or greater. Many people have reached 5000, but 10000 is possible if you can stay focused long enough.
