Nano Strike by Qaterknan
WE RECOMMEND YOU TO PLAY THE TUTORIAL FIRST!
It's 2045 and technologies, especially nano-technologies, has improved a lot since 2012. Today almost everything is produced via nano-technologies and the only science that still refuses to accept them is medicine.
Or, it has been so far. It's rumoured, that few young talented scientists test a nanobot based cure on people.
You are the program, that controls the nanobots. Fight with viruses and bacteries that come across you and save the body. But be careful. If you want to win, you mustn't kill your host although you have to kill some of his cells to spread.
In game, you have three resources (Carbon, Nitrogen and Oxygen) that you can gather through rebuilding cells to nanofactories. To do this, you must firstly prepare them to this with Engineer nanobot. Then you have to rebuilt nucleus of the cell to factory or to barracks with your Builder nanobot. Each enables you to get different troops.
You can also just destroy the cell with Gatherer nanobot in order to get much more resources, but for the price of losing the cell. Finally, with your Warbots, you can fight against all sorts of disease. Your Builder nanobot can also build turrets from cells to increase your tactical advantage.
Controls:
Use mouse to explore the map.
Left click selects a unit and gives orders, right click sends them to location.
Building: Select a builder, on the bottom of the screen controls show up, choose one and click it, click a cell.
For bottom buttons you can use hotkeys: a,s,d,f
Nanobots:
- Engineer (nanobot with drill)
It prepares nucleus of a cell for nanotechnology.
- Builder (nanobot with 2 antennas)

- Gatherer
It has ability to gather resources from cells.
Buildings:
- HQ

We also know it is quite complicated to play... We wanted to make tutorial and five levels (everyone for about three minutes of playing) but this is our first ludum dare so we overstimated our skil. We are sorry, but we did our best.
I´ll give you some small tutorial:
You use your engineer bot to prepare cell core for augumentations. It can also build power stations on mitichondrias. (And then you can get oxygen from it.)
You use your miner to mine resources from that yellow cell (it is fat, actually.)
You use your builder bot to make buildings in your cell core. There can be only one building. (HQ, barracas, turret)
You use your warbots to kill virus and bacterias.
Your goal is to kill every virus and bacterias, but they can multiply by destroing your cell. (As I say, we wanted five levels)
The UI could use a bit more work, maybe a radial menu around the unit instead of the boxes in the corner.
I guess playing it enough to actually get the gameplay would sort that problem.
The tutorial is hard to follow the first time because it doesn't wait for me to select the unit that it I am supposed the use, and then the next instruction pops up... But, it wasn't until the 4th time or so that I also found out that the warriors could be moved by the other mouse button! I was so frustrated by then that I gave up.
For me, the idea is sound and the graphics are cool. It is the starting difficulty that throw me off. The music is also a little bit irritating and the controls aren't as smooth as they could be, in my opinion. This game fits the theme perfectly.
