You save a world by torn it's heart out while robbing all the coins you can and keep smiling? o.O Well... ok!\r<br\/>\r<br\/>The 'read me' is scrolls too fast I couldn't read a line. Tried to pause instinctively but there is no option like that. However the game starts when you press 1 while the 'read me' scrolls and there isn't something to let you know this. Instead you should have a back to title optin there (along with the pause of course).\r<br\/>\r<br\/>These are minor things only and these flaws reflected in your code too. I find it TONS easier to use than allegro. In one level I started directly on top of a heart, if you continue work on it you might want to add a check for that.  I'm glad you included a mute button, the music got pretty annoying.  I love the little corridors filled with coins that are added in the later parts of the games.  It's tricky to get in there and back out without getting killed.
