Thanks for re-hosting. Testing your game was a real adventure, i was actually pointing out my remarks in that comment while i thought i should give a last try and it actually went way better.

Here were my thoughts before understanding what was going on :

I thought that the mouse was for the camera, the wings were TOO FUCKING BIG in my opinion, because i thought it was in the collision box, the asteroids following you just added another layer of difficulty. It took time for me to understand that you actually ONLY move in a 2D plane because the *death scene* where the physics gets mad and where you move into 3D while still being able to move made the whole thing a bit confusing.

BUT ! I got all these things later and i liked the avoiding asteroid part until reaching Aegaeon, i think i made it something like 20 times without real problem until i had to land... THAT WALL http://imgur.com/enk1W !

Did i get it well ? Was i supposed to land in that box ? I tried just going straight to the planet but it always ended suffocating. So the trick for me was to go over that wall, damaging the ship but still sometimes you land before your death. And then comes the FPS part, the double gameplay was a nice touch but except jumping and looking those UFO making my health go down i really didn't know what to do.

Final thoughts ! When I insisted i actually enjoyed that asteroid part. The most confusing thing to me was that you put instructions ingame about the keys to use but not the mouse; I didn't even think about using it, it actually prevented me from doing it. The damaging wall really stopped the fun and the lack of instructions on the FPS part didn't help either. I looked in the launcher but mouse1/2/3 didn't seem to do anything. Graphics were nice, controls weird but funny.

I totally forgot to put the instructions on the FPS part. Sorry about that. You was supposed to land in that box. THe UFOs attack is way too high, I agree. Am I allowed to change it or is it against Ludum Dare rules? Thanks for your feedback!

I really have trouble figuring out the controls. I just keep spinning around and eventually suffocate. Sorry but this one didn't work for me.

The graphics are pretty good, and it looks like you have a decent engine going, but as the others have mentioned the controls are pretty confusing. Maybe mention that the mouse can change view?

Was a little unclear that the UFOS were attacking and I needed to survive. I just saw things growing out of the wall and then died to them. The player health bar was handy, maybe the ship phase should have had one too? It's a little annoying how when you get hit by an asteroid, it spins you out of control, and you're not aware of whether recovering from it is going to be worth it or you'll just suffocate in a few seconds anyways

That could be a nice sample for a thesis: "The Importance Of Controls In Video Games." You had a nice idea, your graphics are good for an LD game, but... That's a shame, the messy controls spoil all this.

Oh, another thing, that's using the Unity web player, so why putting it in a downloadable archive, not directly on the web? There's plenty of free hosting out there.

I liked the idea and apparently it was evolving nicely! It is really a shame that the controls or what you are supposed to do is so hard to understand - I replayed like 8 times, and felt like a real champion when I managed to get like 3 meters away from the base in Aegaeon :D
But I really like this type of game, I think you should continue it at least to the point of making it more accessible to a newbie! Lovely graphics too, congratulations!

I couldn't understand what to do in the FPS part too and the contols kept me go RAGE very often. But the graphics and idea seem to be quite neat though.

I don't get the gameplay of this game. The graphics are awesome, but I just cannot play it.
