Space is rather big ;)\r<br\/> * Distant objects in the starfield (like a tiny galaxy or nebula). Because the stars move so quick, there's no frame of reference to figure out where you are. Something in the background that scrolls much slower would be a big help to finding that planet.\r<br\/> * Retro rockets - Flying up to the planet and then whizzing by because you took too long to turn is a little frustrating.\r<br\/>\r<br\/>Also, even when you're not firing the engines, the direction you're pointing affects your speed.
