Controls: Arrows+ZXC
Press C to build a scaffold, and then hold c while near it to cycle through things to turn it into.
Once you build something out of it, hold c near it again to upgrade it.
Research upgrades with the headquarters
Collect the circles enemies and asteroids drop to gain resources, or press down to drill into your planet for resources. Drilling drains your planet's health.
Z "jumps" to let you get the resource orbs, and you can also use it to cut off low-flying enemies.

-Changed Barricades' upgrades
-Added generators, which you can build after you've made a headquarters
-Press left and right at the same time while over a building to destroy it. You'll get a few resources back.

Super neat stuff to build. My only complain with the control scheme is that it's a little hard sometimes to build the right thing at high research levels, and sometimes it's hard to build things in the right place when the hated rock gets all crowded and shit.
uh, but it's awesome. everyone who reads this comment: you should play this game.
The selection system can be frustrating; the earlier tiers pass in the blink of an eye, especially when there are lots of distractions going on. I would almost prefer it if the game paused while I was building, or at least used a left-right scheme.
The weak point is the building/upgrade/research controls, could be better if up/down arrow keys could cycle through the available options (not exceeding the currently available on the list, which expands as you continue to hold the C button). Also, the asteroid collision sound is irritating, and sometimes they seem to be stuck in collision, producing really loud and confusing sounds. This seems to be even in a post-compo build.
An option for manually cycling through building options is an excellent idea, I can't believe I didn't think of it myself. I don't know if I'll work on the post-compo build any more but if I ever revisit this idea (fairly likely, as I'm very pleased with it) I'll definitely take all of these issues and suggestions into account.
