Skully's Microscopic World by Skully
A 2D game where you have to remove all the 'bacteria' from the area as a white blood cell named Phil
collide with bacteria to ingest them, remove all bacteria to complete the game
CONTROLS:
WASD/Arrow keys - control Phil
P - Pause/Unpause the game
R - Restart the game
Esc - Quit the game
HINTS:
- Cocci (Spherical bacteria) spawns at a slower rate than the Bacilli (Rod bacteria)
Decide for yourself which is best to attack first
- Once there are alot of bacteria, it will be hard to keep up with their reprodcution
rate, it is advised to try and herd them like sheep into bunches
- If a bacterium is near a cell wall it may reproduce into the wall, this child
bacterium will spawn at a random location in the area, therefore you want to try
to keep bacteria away from the cell walls
- Cocci reporduces in hexagonal patterns in random directions, while the Bacilli
will reproduce in an upwards branching direction
- You're not getting any younger! As such a small organism, you have a limited life
span, and are unable to reproduce at the rate of these dirty youngsters!
- it's also a drain on yourself to take out bacteria, so don't waste time on wild
goose chases, quick plan of action is needed for victory!

constraints!
appologies:
If you're a microbiologist or have some sort of knowledge on the subject, you may possibly be
offended by how terribly inaccurate my game is with regards to microbiology, so sorry
if it does offend. However, ever more sinsere appologies if said game is so unenjoyable
that it offends you. This is my first shot at a game from scratch by myself with
minimal planning and experience.
If on the other hand you did somehow enjoy this game, then I'm exceptionally happy that
it was able to be enjoyable for you.
I advise you start of on easy to get a feeling for how the cells and bacterium interact and then once you have the hang of it, try the harder difficulties.
the score is based off your remaining life to the power of the difficulty. If you lower your difficulty in game this will affect your score and if you knockup your difficulty ingame, the change will be ignored (as you have a larger lifespan)
I've uploaded a screenshot of my current best, feel free to try to top it

Was disappointed there weren't more quotes.
Congrats on completing your first game jam! =)
to the people struggling to complete it: It's definitely possible to complete, remember to keep the bacteria away from the sides as that's where they go to spawn at a random location, they bacteria will begin to group together
cheers regardless though for giving my game a shot
But overall, it was a pretty fun, charming game.
As you can't seem to win it it would be cool if there was a score so you could at least battle for the highest one.
And now I know who else is stealing the nickname on those sites, too. :D
Get 7zip, tis a beast
Good concept, good interp of the theme, can't get much tinier than this :P
