Isn't the competition supposed to be solo?

Isn't the competition supposed to be solo? I really enjoyed the game, though. Great environments with moving characters in the background, and a nerve-wracking car scene.

Only the Compo is solo; He submitted to the Jam.

Interesting take on the theme. I couldn't make it past the cars. Seemed like no matter what I did, I was always dying there.

@mattchu & @ronsho : Thanks for the feedback!

It does look like there is a bug in some of the player state code that causes perma death, not sure what the cause is but it happens aroiund the cars and the entryway to the building. ill be getting off work with 2 hours to spare today and will probably take a crack at it to see if i can fix it before the competition ends.

Thanks again! :D

The trick is knowing where the cars tires cross so that you can time it and duck while under their carriage in time to survive the wind blast.

@everyone playing right now, Hey there is a bug that occurs when the game drops below 30fps, this is an issue with unitys collision system and animation system being used together. I have a fix for it but its going to take a while to implement because it changes alot of core code. Im hoping that i can complete the fix before the cutoff but for now if you are experiencing issues try using a lower quality setting. Thank You.

Hey all i applied a fix to the broken piece of physics just before cutoff last night and it should take care of it for most people. If you do run into it try playing the game again on lower settings and also let me know so that i can try and debug it, thanks everyone.

I really enjoyed playing though, until I reached the elevator and fell through a collider to infinity :) The backgrounds are great and spawn points are a lifesaver. Would love a sprint button ;)

After trying many times to beat the first car section I tried again on lower settings and was able to get past that, but couldn't get past the second car section. Instant respawning / respawn points or a dash would fix this, I think. Ducking under the cars didn't seem to work also.
Loved the idea behind this game, the character, the art and the presentation in general. The movement through the world could've been a little bit faster, but there's enough to soak in with this world that it's okay.

Really nice game. I liked the DoF effect and the environmental obstacles. Maybe there could have been more obstacles, as some sections were just about moving to the right. Some audio would make it really come to life too.

Awesome concept. Game looks great. You guys really leveraged Unity in this entry. I would love to play a full game where I play a trash sprite that hopefully moves a bit faster. I really enjoyed myself but I got stuck at a wall after entering the building. The sense of scale is great and you guys got a lot done in the time allocated. You should be proud! I recommend you finish this one, I'd buy a copy!
