My first time in the compo.

I went with a minimal approach, given that my initial project really didn't take shape.. at least not enough for the compo.
However, the jam came out fairly well.:P
The idea is I guess what you would call a war in a digital world, where you play one side by clicking to generate procedural type ships that attack the other side.
The longer you wait, the more hp your ship gets, but the ship gets slower as well.
This is a HTML 5 game. It runs well with the latest Chrome, Firefox, and Chrome Frame on IE.
Made with Scirra Construct 2.
Special thanks to my friends over there.

I Love the Pixel explosion and the minimalist interface! But its frustrating to see them fly in circle without hitting.

Neat randomly-generated ships! Not much interesting gameplay though, and it's hard to tell which ships are yours.

Was unable to steer the ships, Construct 2 def. looks improved since I last used it.

Good idea, but needs polish. The light ships while fast are essentially useless

I wish there was more control, like maybe the ships would target the enemy that you click on or that you hover over. The timing feels like waiting since the faster ships just can't seem to win over the strength of the slower stronger ships.

The mechanic has potential, but it needs work.

Like the idea, though would be cool if there were different types of attacks (missile ship / shield ship / etc)

I couldn't honestly get it to run... I mean, the game just starts and then it spews out ships, regardless of what I do (or at least there doesn't seem to be any feedback at all). I'm always at score 0 while the enemy racks up points.

Really unique, great minimalism.

I thought the ships were gorgeous.

I really like this. Would be nice to see a little more strategy somehow I guess.

Liked it, but would have been nice if your ships could have spawned in blue and enemies in red or something to easily get a feel of what is happening on the battlefield.

it took me some time to get what's going on - the concept is really cool

could use some polish - but it's a great idea - I'd love to see what this could become if you continue working on it
