Tiny Toy by Meedoc
Here is my entry for this Ludum Dare 23! This time I tried to do something understandable. I think I reached this objective, but let me know if I didn't!
I'm sorry for the quality of the texts, I'll try to improve this point if I have time before the deadline!
It's a simple game which don't need extra explanation (I hope).

I'm not sure I understood how to beat the ennemy, but...that's not very important after all! I had some fun, the music fits perfectly and I love the whole mood of the game...this "I don't understand shit but I love what I am playing anyway" mood.
At least, I managed to finish this one ^^
I think it's your more understandable game for the LD :D
@Pitoum the fact is you can. By using Game Theory, you can predict what will be the choice of the IA.
This stupid IA only produce the more profitable unit. That means, it calculated from the displayed parameter which unit as the most chance to bring in the most.
@BlackDogg, the balance of strenght is displayed at the top as well as the weak point of each units. But it's my fault if players do not find the information. Next time I'll do a better interface ^^
Too bad we can't skip text to retry quickly ! Plus the game fights are slow so It does not make player want to play again and again.
Graphics are... well I can't give you a good score for that sorry !
Music and sounds are ok.
Gameplay is interesting, balancing forces/costs/speed of the game is really tricky !
Fully playable, I mostly enjoyed it.

Negative points :
Too much text in my opinions...And you can't pass them when you play again!
I believe that the IA is a quite a difficulte thing to do : In my test, whenever I hit the B button, it always respond with the D color.A little frustration
I can't see exactly if I really win agains my opponent. In facts, at the end of the game, I don't feel as I have achieved to win the game. It's maybe what you wanted ?
Positive points :
Simple control : Click!
I like the idea of the world goes tinier and tinier!(is it really related to what I'm doing ? :) )
I enjoy the sound, very soft music and trashy sound for the particules, remember me the gameboy sound.
I find the "graphics" well adapted for the game
Last point : I enjoyed it anyway!

@Angerus, yep winning or losing was not the purpose. The gameplay is just a distracting way to picture my point described on the end screen.

It's not quite easy to understand what does what, and if we understand what we do, but.. I won.. and I read the ultimate message of this game, that's important, right ?
