Expand Explore Expatiate by KevinZuhn
Hello, thanks for stopping by!
Expand Explore Expatiate (EXP3) is my second Ludum Dare game, made with GameMaker 8.0 and sfxr. It's a simple top-down exploration game, using the arrow keys for movement. Red things allow you to take control of larger objects, while purple things kick you down another size. Get to the goal in the upper left corner to win!
(After a few folks played and hit a bug, I uploaded a fixed version that keeps you from getting stuck in the sliding floor puzzle. If you play the older version, don't go on the bottom-most circle tile, you'll get suck!)

VDOgamez, I originally had an ending in mind where you step on that tiny purple tile and then zoom into the character's pixel to take control of his eye dot. Sadly I ran out of time!
I like the minimalistic look as well. Unfortunately there are some minor issues with collision detection.
Novel concept, really enjoyed it! Agreed that the ending is a little lackluster, but given the time constraint, the game was satisfying enough to beat that I didn't mind that so much.
