We always have the sensation that the earth is flat because the surface is a lot bigger than us.
What would happen in a shmup if the surface is a lot smaller than what we are used to.

The game is done with XNA 4.0 and can be played with both keyboard and Xbox 360 pad.

Nice! Very solid execution on the premise - I've seen a number of people now riffing off of the "circular world" thing, but you've got it down pat here.

And man...as someone who's not used to thinking in circles, dodging a bullet on a curved path is HARD. =P

Very cool, I like being able to move the ship before the game starts, very slick.

It took some time for me to get used to the controls but it is a great game!

Good idea but really too difficult (speed and ennemy count).

Unique take on this type of game, really neat.

It's much quicker than what I normally expect of a shooter. The decision to put the movement in orbit was one particular challenge that I thought put quite a twist to it.

***I'm posting this on all non-browser games I bring up in an attempt to encourage folks to make browser games next time around. Do not take it personally.***

When hundreds of people make non-browser games, that means that, to play all of the entries, I would need to download hundreds of games to my computer. I typically use OS X, so Windows-only entries are particularly inconvenient.

Please consider making a browser game next time.

Can't run XNA 4.0 games from my mac or linux machines.

I don't agree that all games should be browser games, but I do wish there were more cross-platform titles.

Nicely presented, great idea, average graphics and sound... overall, a great entry but lacking that "something" that makes it special... maybe I just can't think in circles?

I can't play, as I don't have a Windows machine. I know it's not possible to port XNA games to Mac/Unix, however, I'm still leaving a comment as an indication of a lost potential rating.

I'd love to play this with switched controls on a turntable controller, like if the ship was constantly firing and you scratched to move around :)

Nice little idea with the twist on the space invaders kind of game. I'm no good at it, but that's just me!
Would have liked some more pretty looking graphics and more imaginative sound maybe, but I know what it's like with the short time limit.

Good work!

Nice take on the orbital shooter. Some more variety would have been nice, but great mix of play sound and graphics.

Very funny idea and it's really hard to dodge like that, turning a simple shmup into a real challenge.

I feel dizzy ^-^ with the circular motion!
This is a good game. Neat graphics, simple.
I played in the pc and I don't know why left and right didn't seem intuitive for the up and down movement, maybe with the game pad the movement feels more natural or maybe I'm just an incorrigible newbie for this velocity settings :P.
Anyway congrats on your game!
