Aww... Sorry, can't play as I don't have a mac.

Quite a literal take on the theme. I mean... man! This world is small! Like, tiny!

I liked the simple green running man style. Build out the level and tell a story about the tiny green man alone in a giant dark world full of 12 story ladders... or something.

Sadly there's not much here for me to rate. I'd like to say more but there's not much more to be said about a world this petite. :-)

I'll be happy to play again when you continue your work here and I do look forward to the post-mortem.

reminded me of lode runner (in a good way), would be cool to see this fleshed out into more levels w/ puzzles etc. good potential though - I also enjoyed just jumping off the side and watching green guy flail haha.

Could not play because of mac-only limitation, but the level editor looks really promising.

I can't play this game as I don't have a Mac, but it looks interesting. I hope you release a ported version.

Thank you to those who checked it out and those who commented even if you couldn't run it. If you've got Ruby on your OS you can check out the code and run it that way: ruby tinyworld.rb. Might have to do a "gem install bundler" and "bundle install" beforehand...

i don't have a Mac so i can't play it. You should try to port it to windows next time as that's the platform where the most ratings will come from.

Not on a Mac. I feel lame saying that, but I'm encouraged to. On the topic of lame things, I'm also avoiding unfinished entries... maybe put being able to finish higher on the priority list next time. Or finish the game early and then add stuff later, and never let on that you didn't finish.

@xBlinkedx: I tried to make a Windows version but ran into problems when trying to package it up. I should've sorted it out before the contest. It was on my prep list but I never got to it.

@dansludumdare: My problem was that I was really still trying to figure out the framework (Chingu) during the competition and not focused on gameplay. But I at least wanted to go through the submission process so I'm ready for it next time.

Wish there was more to play. You should put in the description what you were planning to do. Then go do it! :D

Although I couldn't barely move, due to be struck in the blocks/stairs, even in the very beginning I had a good feeling of the old NES times, I don't know why? Maybe Lode Runner? If you happen to work on it more, I'd love to play.

Even as it stands, this is fun to play with. I'd love to see you build a few more levels and string them together in some fashion. So close to being a complete game, don't stop now.

Impressive so far, hope you keep with it. Gravity amused me in the way it works, but I wouldn't change it at all. The map editor overlay was pretty slick

The animations and controls are nice! I think this could have good platformer potential if developed further!

I don't have a Mac, so no deal. Next time try and make it to Windows or Web, and hopefully finish it! See ya.

Interesting game. I like the concept a lot... especially the level editor. It would be nice for you to continue to work on this... there's a lot of potential here. As for what you did submit, it was a little short :)
