Boulder Drop by jclaine
This is my first entry into Ludum Dare and it went far and large better than expected. This is the first game that has seen the light of day from my frame work. The other game I'm working on has been taking sooo long it felt really good to get in and write a little dirty code over the weekend.
All in all I spent < 20 hours on the whole thing. I would have submitted to the Compo but I work at a bar to help make ends meet right now and this weekend I happened to be scheduled for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Friday was the only night I wasn't on till close (2am). I also had not used some of the code in my framework before so I had no idea how much patching it might take to get it up and running, of those 20 hours about 5 was spent on rewriting classes. So, for me, this was quite an accomplishment.
I am very seriously thinking about making this into a full game, I like the boulder dropping mechanic and have a ton of ideas on how to make this interesting for 20+ levels.
As always feedback is appreciated, good or bad. It actually just puts a spring in my step knowing people are playing something I created.

Could have used some elaboration, though, perhaps the villagers get faster (thus harder to hit) as you progress through the levels?
