Agorobophobia by BrothersT
ATTENTION: If you are planning to play this game, please note that in its current state it is unfinished, and is more a test than a game, and as so, doesn't make much sense to play.
Sorry that it's not more clear what the rules are, we didn't have time to implement the tutorial dialogue I wrote.
How to play: Press space to start a connection, once you have pressed space, the tiles you walk on become energized and you can't step on them. If you make a connection from one end of the level to another in a straight horizontal or vertical line, and step out of the way, the line of tiles will collapse, making the universe smaller, and tiles you stepped on will lose their charge. If you make a connection that doesn't reach all the way across, the tiles will be cleared between the two points, but the tiles you stepped on retain their charge. Confusing at the moment, I know, but try to enjoy the idea and the art, if nothing else :)
Synopsis: What if you were a agorophobic nanobot stuck inside an experimental, infinitely repeating universe created by a mad scientist playing God? Find out in Agorobophobia! 24(ish) (un)playable levels - unlimited possibilities!
In this puzzle game, the aim is to reach the end point of each level by destroying cells by placing a start and end point in the level. Placing the end points at opposite sides of the grid cause the world to shrink! Level 5 onwards are infinitely repeating, and can also be shrunk until you occupy the only grid space! Is this world tiny, or infinitely huge? We'll let you decide.
Unfortunately we didn't get as far as we'd have liked to with this game concept, but nonetheless, we have a playable proof of concept demo that we think is actually a very interesting idea. If you are interested in innovative ideas, and not too fussed about gameplay, this is the game for you! (We've included a "skip level" button for good measure ;D )
Check back soon for a more finished product!

gavin5564 - Thanks! They were my handiwork! I had a whole text dialogue written that was going to explain the controls perfectly.
TheGamingProject + Topaz - Sorry about that, my brother is at work right now, we'll try and get the game patched up ASAP so it at least starts.
Gornova - That's strange, do you get to the 2shared page? it might take a moment for the download to start. I'll try and find a more reliable space to upload.
various websites (just stick in in the same directory as the executable).
@Topaz - From another Google search, this would perhaps indicate that you have an old version of DirectX. Try installing at least DirectX 9.0c, and if that doesn't work, is it perhaps that your graphics card is very old?
@gavin5564 - Press space to place the end points. If you place the end points at the opposite sides of the level, in either the same column or row, that column or row will collapse, shrinking the world! You must walk off of the column/row before it can collapse, however. Sorry for the lack of instruction. We did plan for more tutorial-style levels, but ran out of time. Thanks very much for taking the time to play though!

@Cake&Code - hmm, I'm not experiencing the black space glitch much, but there are plenty of other glitches to enjoy. Thanks! I enjoyed doing the art, ominous was what I was going for!
Thanks for the optimism both of you, I'm hoping we can finish it soon without having to do too much work on it. Other games to finish, you know :)
