You are strong force, that wonderful force responsible for fusing tritium and deuterium together to form helium.
This is what keeps our sun burning. You play the role of strong force and must fuse these together. Fusion costs
the sun some energy, so be sure to use it carefully and do it only when atoms are close enough together.

Start charging: Click LMB.
Activate fusion: Release LMB.

As the heat builds up, particles will move around faster, and the sun will glow stronger.

Love the topic and the graphics, but I'm having performance issues. Other than that, it's a pretty cool entry.

Graphics do a good job and the gameplay is fun, SPLOSIONS! The Game Over condition is a bit random and feels unsatisfying as I slowly lose more and more power as the particles slow down.

Still great fun

marudziik: What hardware you running? I had a few issues on my machine during dev (thus I optimised the particle count a bit).

Kimau: Yeah, I should have probably left the render side effect of the heat a bit stronger. I felt it was too overpowering when you were doing well, so made it weaker, which as a side effect seems to make it not obvious anymore :( I will keep it in mind for the next game :)

I don't think my manifolds are well enough to sustain this!

Haha never played particle physics before :-) cool idea and well executed, liked the music as well.

Very cool, love the idea. It is very wide-screen though, worried how that might affect people with smaller displays.

Miltage: Window can be resized, it will handle a different aspect ratio :)

netmute: I haven't tried in OSX yet, but it may run a'ok with Wine. Haven't tested my engine in that for a while though.

nice graphics, all that clicking was a bit taxing, could have done with some cheats to increase the number of red blue things and keyboard controls!

I liked it...with one complaint, the charging ring around the mouse cursor was nearly invisible on the background, it really needed to be a different color.

Took me awhile to figure it out, but I finally got the hang of it. Didn't really get what caused the game over.

Awesome idea! I would have liked to be able to have some visual indication of when two particles were close enough to explode. Also had no idea why the game ended when it did.

Great concept! The graphics were nice, and I could see this working a lot better if the influence of the strong force were a bit more... strong :P great job!

Neat! I could see this being a really cool game to watch if someone got really fantastic at it...as it is I'm only so-so, but it's still a lot of fun. The first 30 seconds were like "er...I don't understand how this is entertaining", and then it clicked and I couldn't stop. xD

I played it a few times until I (think I) was starting to get it. Ended up getting a score of 1155 after a while. Not a bad entry, but as previously mentioned, it felt kind of random when and how you got game over, and, I didn't even know there was a ring around the cursor, so it must have been 'nearly invisible' as Raptor85 said. Aside from these, it's an interesting concept that could be expanded upon and refined into something addictive, and also the music was catchy.

Good game! It sounded simple in the "how to play" text, but it took me a few matches to fully understand the mechanics.

Extra points for innovation and trying something new! Also for the music. I just listened to it and watched the sun when I first ran it :) Sun looks really cool, too. Nice little game, not sure if including an energy-meter would have made it better or not. You probably knew what you did. Like.

Pretty fun game! Could use some more particle effects to give the player a little more feedback when they make teh fusions. The music was a little off given the setting. It just didn't feel right to me.

I had 5265 points and then it felt like it's never going to end I quit game. Quite confusing first but after you figure it out it's actually quite easy. I like the soundtrack and sound effects.

Pretty innovative.
I would have liked to know how much energy was left
