Aquarium Adventure by eli

[raw]
made by eli for LD23 (COMPO)
Aquarium Adventure is a short foray into the minds of sweet aquatic fishies. What are their thoughts? What makes them tick? Find out first-fin (sorry) in this game.

CONTROLS: WASD/arrows to move horizontally. CTRL to descend, SPACE to ascend. Mouse looks.

There is no "END" in the sense of a "you win screen". The game offers the following:
* find and interact with two characters
* a quest!!

Built in Unity.
"Models" built in 3ds Max (I chickened out of using Blender).
All textures made by hand in Photoshop or photographed by me (photos available in source pack). Taken Saturday and Sunday.
Music with Musagi!
The single sfx was foley recorded this morning.

The control screen flew past so I spent a few seconds confused, but then figured it out. Decent interpretation of the theme, and audio track was nice. Overall, good! :)

Great idea! I never tought how the world looks from the inside of an aquarium. The atmosphere is really charming and calming in my opinion. Really nice concept :-)
One little thing:
Clicking ctrl+w close internet window so it's pretty annoying.

After all, I would really like to play this as a completed full game.

Interesting perspective. I liked the effect of the bubble fog. I wasn't sure what to do. I just swam around for a little while.

Nice idea. Was a bit hard to navigate with all the bubbles, but I completed the quest and liked the dialogue.

Good work man! Very good with the theme, and the atmosphere really works - maybe because you named the shark, it gives a sort of detective feel to the game. Controls are quite iffy, though, and gameplay is quite limited, but way to go!

Very novel game. Nice work with the underwater feel! Music just right for a fish tank.

The bubbles were huge and obnoxiously opaque, and the movement was painfully slow.

Cute quest though. And the music was appropriate.

The navigation was awkward, but it was definitely an immersive experience.
