The world just got destroyed by an unknown force, and you were the only survivor! Using your Life Force car, you speed away, bringing life all around you....racing alone, against yourself!
My first entry on any Ludum Dare, and i got to say, it was fun :D
Game made on Game Maker 8.1.
Instructions on how to play and more in-game.
Note: The game contains only 1 small looping SoundTrack so if the music starts to get on your nerves (which it will :\), you can turn it off on the Option menu.

The plopping and flying of particles as things turn into life is a really nice touch.
I love the idea of you having to beat yourself from the last round. It's also implemented very smoothly.
The music in my taste doesn't match with the game, feels to slow for a racing them, however it connects with the theme.
I also took a while to get started, since I didn't know what the accelerate key was. I only found the controls in the help menu later. It would be fine to put the controls right in the HUD, at least on the first level/first playthrough.
I think the environment coming to life as you attain higher ranks is a nice touch.
While I'm not dedicated enough to S rank everything (I B ranked track 1 and 2 to unlock all the tracks), I appreciate the addition of replay value.
