I found it extremely dark, didn't really know what to do.

This was a very cool game once I figured out what was going on (took me a while); Perhaps some more detailed instructions on key prompts would have helped ie. "Press Q to lock the position of the light ball".
The difficulty curve is quite steep, and the total darkness outside of the light ball's point light is probably to blame. You should consider adding a very low intensity directional light from above going straight down; it wouldn't kill the atmosphere if it were low enough and it would make negotiating the maze in the dark slightly less painful.
Also, final point, when you are using a mouse look for a Unity game, you should use Screen.lockcursor=true; to hide and centre the mouse so it doesn't get in the way or inadvertently click a banner whilst playing.
High marks all round for a very creative puzzler.
PS. I did try to respond to your message on my game (Vestige), but it tells me to sign it to comment when I'm already signed in, so I'm not being rude by not answering. Thanks for playing :)

Nice concept, but all that darkness isn't necessary and makes the game more tedious than it needs to be. Also, it needs more instructions, I almost gave up right away.

very cool aesthetic, but it was a bit too dark. I got lost at the 2nd purple door, and it was all pitch black :\ Cool though!

I have to agree with all of your comments the game was too dark and was not remedied by the light that follows you around. also the tutorial levels could have been more clear. For anyone else that is stuck, pressing E activates the switch only when the light is near the switch(it turns green) and pressing Q locks the position of the light. the light towers are activated when the light source is next to them.

I also found it too dark outside the light's area which made navigation harder that it should. I got the mechanics without too much experimentation, but better instructions would be great. The puzzles are clever, but somewhat repetitive. Great, great atmosphere.

Nice core mechanic! Got stuck in room 3 or 4 though. Something to alleviate the pitch blackness would have been handy.

I think if you are stuck in pitch blackness that means that you don't understand the mechanics completely, you can have the light follow you if you press Q. The puzzle in room two requires that you lock the light in place until you go into the next room.

It's just hard, without being rewarding. :(
