SETBACK by Acrimiens

Time is the most ancestral technology. It predates the Big Bang.

It is a very powerful weapon; use it well and you will survive.

You can control time with the MOUSE. Move it to accelerate time, and stop it to keep the time from advancing.

Your goal is to take the missiles to the blocks to destroy them in order to forward time.

Pick up power up stars to eliminate all.

If you want more fun then... "SPACE" spawn infinite arrows :)

Love the graphics!
Nice game and very interesting the idea of time as an ancient technology.

Oh yeah! I love the minimal visual style. The game looks simple, but it has big potential. Maybe gamepad control will improve the feeling, not sure. Congrats

But if the big bang was the start of the universe it sure was when time started... Game should have been of the big bang not prior to itself or at least of the void.
Great addictive game anyway.

71, Is brutal and minimalistic. Like the games of master Terry Cavanagh. And this is the best I can say to someone's game :D

Simple, minimalistic and quite fun.

I have to do a little nitpicking though. This was probably intentional (correct me if I'm wrong), but I don't think the speed of time corresponds to the movement of my mouse as sensitively as it should I have to move my mouse really quickly to speed it up, and stopping also feels a bit delayed.

I don't know, maybe I'm imagining things.

Anyway, very nice little game :)

Awesome game idea. Digging the art style, and the core mechanic is super on point.

Totally agree with @mvasko2 though, in that I don't think the speed-up mechanics quite match what you would expect, in the way that SUPERHOT progresses time. If I move my mouse 500 pixels, it should probably go through more time than if I move it 300 pixels. Kind of felt like there was a pretty low max speed, and you could sort of cheat by moving faster than time.

This mechanic could go really well in a number of other game types too. Well done on the design.

Wow. That was pretty cool. Every now and then I got the music playing on top of itself, not sure if it was just me or it happens to other people. When that happens I would just refresh and start over again. Loving the music as well.

My highest score was 36.

Interesting mini bullet-hell game.

One shot death is a little harsh, maybe 3 lives? :)

Simple but really fun game. Great graphics, and I think I'm in love with the music.

Some patern are really well made. The time mechanics is may be too much in here, I didn't really use it I just moved my mouse arround to make the game faster.

Good job, thanks for the fun.

Interesting game, with application of colors can be more interesting. The acceleration of music is a strong point.
