I couldn't run the exe. It stopped working the moment I ran it. (Windows7 64bit)

Did you install openAL? I guess that could be the problem.

Neat! Amusing little zombie shooter. Took me a little while to figure out that I had to push "Enter" to start the game. Almost quit before I started. :)

I had to install OpenAL (quick & painless, thankfully), and then it worked. Short, but a neat little shooter with a cool style. Congrats on finishing!

I only ever reached level 7, where I died.

To me it seems that balancing for this game would be very difficult, and at some point (Level 7 for me) it's essentially impassible because there is no open space to be alive on. However, regarding this barrier, you did really well in the difficulty of the game.

My biggest concern for the game is the level design. As far as playing the game is concerned, there really wasn't a difference between the levels except the zombie density at the beginning.

Polishing up the game (more clear controls & direction, slow learning curve), adding more variety (in graphics, zombie type (probably by region because random mixing doesn't really accomplish anything as far as visible typing) ), and making the world more advanced (indoors of buildings, maybe, stairs?) would make it good.

Adding procedural generation for the levels would be awesome (assuming it also had the extra detail, right now, as I said about the level design, it wouldn't really make a difference).

Kind of fun and actiony. Gets repetitive. Not quite satisfying to keep swooshing through ghosty zombies while always firing in random directions. I wonder if it would have been better to dial down the enemy count and put more emphasis on evasion... or maybe... yeah - one hit kills with particles showering off when each zombie is killed. Also maybe having the zombies push you around when they bunch up nearby. Getting more of a physical inertial feeling. Also boss monsters and intense music, of course... :)

Nice graphics, tight controls. I feel like powerups or something similar would really improve this.
