Very nice game indeed - simple and highly playable. Great fun, mood and graphics. Shame on the [or lack of] audio. Still, a great game nonetheless!

For the record - haven't finished it quite yet :)

Very difficult! Or maybe I'm just bad at it. I liked the graphics quite a bit. The gameplay was pretty repetitive, though I liked the challenge of juggling the gun and the cart, making progress while keeping zombies at bay. The threat of being alone made it fit well with the theme.

Beautiful work. The art style and parallax look great, and the minecart + shooter combo is challenging. (Love the swinging arm anim for Molly sprite!)

Control scheme was a bit rough on the fingers (A,D,R,O,P hard to reach all at once), but solid game overall.

Very funny game! Very scarry too. I would have prefered S for the reload button.

That is one tough game. Kinda cruel with that reloading, and you can't jump. You can't even regenerate health. Cruel cruel game. That reloading was a pain.
The controls overall were a pain. It just felt unnatural with that layout.

I like the graphics, good job on that. Also theme was done okay.

No timelapse? Not even one blog entry? That's sad. Open up, we are a great community.

@joekinley thanks for the input! Yeah both the controls and difficulty are in dire need of "tweaking." It's funny you mentioned jumping, the code actually exists but is commented out in the Monkey source. Learned my lesson with respect to time management that's for sure. As for a blog entry, I am not really sure what's good or bad. I was leaning towards a postmortem, but I am open to suggestions. This was my first Ludum Dare. It was also my first time programming with.(in?) Monkey. I figure the postmortem will be about that. More to come...

Great game... very good idea. Gfx are superb. It's super hard. In my opinion a shooter should have at least some sound effect it would add a lot to the player experience but I know it's a 48h compo and you privileged gameplay. Congratulations.

Super hard, and too bad there's no audio on it. But I stayed on it for a few minutes so, there's something good there. Also, A and D are useable in this title, even with an azerty keyboard, but the "R" is not easy to use. Keep going !
