Fernands War by nickd3000
You are Fernand, security officer on a remote mining planet. There is trouble in the air and you are the one to protect the colony.
Thrust through the mining tunnels in your ship, avoiding the hazzards and shooting all the enemies you can imagine.
Collect the Log files to piece together what has happened to the colony.
NOTE: there is a wee problem with the collision on the spinning sawblades (spoiler LOL) so keep away from the corners mmkay?! xx

I love the controls, really solid!
Also had @naxum's problem with the hitbox corner. :)
You could pack the jar file a little bit better and it could work for linux/mac ;) plus and applet :)
I liked it!
Either I beat the game or was tricked into committing suicide.
I liked it. Some parts were tricky and those sawblades with the square hitbox convinced me to leave a couple log boxes unread.
I had a great time. Thanks.
I like the slowly panning camera it makes me feel so isolated.
I found I had to quit at one point as a log dialogue wouldn't go away for me, but I had a lot of fun with it.
@VonZippenstein yes, you completed it (might have been confusing without the other log files though) :D
@Kelly Thomas thanks for playing, sorry about the bug!
Twist is hilarious. Nice job!
I didn't see a strong relation with the theme until I tracked down more of the log files. I still haven't beaten the game, but I got far enough to understand what's happening. The logs really bring the game together!
The opening screen was great, but there was a big delay between pressing space and the game actually beginning.
BUZZSAWS!!! D:
This game felt really complete, and was a lot of fun.
Side note, but I had the strangest deja-vu reading the chat logs.
