This is my first ludum dare participation.

I decided to make a game about the discovery of another form of life and our reaction to it.

The game is made in flash with flixel.
Controlls are:
- arrow keys to move
- space to shoot.
- x to advance in dialogues.

I can't seem to advance past the stage of the block on the two glowing bars.. I'll hold my rating until i can get past that.

Can't rate yet, are you sure this is the right link? All I see is this "multiple Planes" demo, nothing nearly resembling your screenshots

I gave you a good score for innovation, simply because the goal wasn't to kill the aliens. But everything else could have been more interesting. For a first entry though this is a great effort, I had trouble with your link as well.

The "Web" link at the top also took me to a demo "multiplePlanes". Just shows a red square and two rectangles.

Anyway, going directly to the swf (like mentioned in the comments) works. http://phmongeau.github.com/LD22.swf

Pretty neat idea and really like the art style!

I think I have fixed the bug that made some people see the 'multiplePlanes' demo. I had forgotten to change a part of the html file when I copied it and I guess that part was used only by some browsers so that's why not everybody had the bug.

The "web" link says "missing plug-in" for me (Chrome; Windows 7 32-bit) and the direct link to the SWF doesn't show anything. Can't play it :'(
