Made by a team of 3.4 - our first ever Ludum Dare attempt. We were completely unprepared, started without an engine, and despite our better efforts the result is not much more than a passable, generic platformer. Still, it's quite fun, and a little challenging. Check it out, laugh at the source, and mind the FuckingBirds.
I get a "No suitable graphics card found..." error - what do I need to run this? I have a middle of the line processor, 32-bit Dell running Windows 7, afaik the graphics card isn't anything fancy.
Not bad at all. The graphics are simple, but the controls are very responsive, the level design has a healthy amount of challenge, and there are very few collision bugs.
You should get rid of the invisible walls in some stages, and add a proper ending, and you will have a great game in hands.
Oh, and I don't mind the birds, no need to apologize :-)
OH GOD THE BIIIIIIRDS!!! That last stretch before the final where you have to scale the side of the wall with the birds chasing you... OH GOD NIGHTMARES!!! lol The end was funny because I thought he just tripped...
The level design was superb! Challenging without being frustrating. I found the birds to be more hilarious than annoying, though I can't explain why. Overall, great game, and I'd love to see it expanded into a longer game. :)
It was fun and moody, but it later became too difficult for me to stay interested. It's better than the other 600 generic plat-formers that were submitted.
Good job with 28th in the jam! I have to agree with you though, that your code was a mess. Although I did learn a lot from it, so thank you for being awesome :D

The challenges are pretty fun and the game is very moody.
The music is a little bit annoying but it is OK.
Sweet Game!
Good luck! The whole thing is a mess, but if you manage to make something please let us know =)
