This 3rd person perspective treatment is reminiscent of the old 8-bit days, and the rotation\/forward movement was smooth. Could use some texture on the water to make the movement speed more apparent. And as Dmurph points out, the rotation felt a little off. Good audio track and digitized breeze noise, and the day\/night cycle was a nice touch.\r\rI made it to the north edge of the map, then couldn't tell if I was still making progress or not. Probably too many squares to explore them all before running out of patience. But again, nice work. I couldn't figure out what to do, and when in open water there was no sense of movement. The horizon was still, and the water was just blue, only the boat and guy animated.
