Carrie by Alison

[raw]
made by Alison for LD22 (COMPO)
This isn't as intended, so I greatly condensed the story today to it's most base thought. That the things in your life are transient and you are ultimately alone, as you wander forward through life you lose the all things that you had around you.

It's called Carrie because that's her name!

It's my first ever entry, and was made in Processing and Photoshop, I made the music in Garage Band on my iPad :) The final game is an executable for pc.

Not bad. The graphics and mood are very good, and the music is fitting. But the gameplay is rather lacking- holding down the right key is neither challenging nor interesting. When all of the followers had died, I figured there was nothing left to do and closed it.

Live together, die alone :) Nice graphics but no gameplay.

Very beautiful in every aspect, but this is not a game unfortunately. Maybe adding some platforms or door mechanics in some way (the door being some life transition of sorts, perhaps) would make this entry a very good game, in my opinion.

I love the graphical composition, especially the sun + trees + grass.

Would of been nice to have more of a game to stick it to :/

Reminds me of Passage by Jason Rohrer. The mood is well done and the graphics are great.
