Char movements, scene load, collisions, events, etc. We basically repeat a lot of stuff when doing games, so that is always helpful!"},{"author_name":"runvs","author_uid":"29172","time":"Aug 31, 2016 @ 4:40pm","epoch":1472661300,"text":"I can just strech, what juaxix said. Be proud of your self and of your game! You created a two player game within 48 hours. This is not an easy task.\r<br\/>My first LD game (we worked as a team of two programmers) was ugly as hell, had broken collision, a lot of glitches and bugs, that made it literally unplayable. But hey, four months later for the next LD, we tried again and hat lots of fun. And that's what LD is about! Have fun creating a game!"}],"images":["ld36\/54723-f05e072d1392652b4824b83ebadd8ec6.jpg"],"links":[{"url":"https:\/\/bitbucket.org\/RePixelated\/ld36","text":"Source"}],"metadata":{"g_key":"321","g_author":"54723","g_event":"LD36","g_eventkey":"35","g_subevent":"JAM","g_urlkey":"321","g_title":"Jungle Fighters","g_status":"UCHK1","g_place":"99999","g_commentcount":"2","g_site2_node_id":"0","g_hide":"N","g_has_icon":"Y","g_rqueue":"0","g_random":"0"},"nds":[],"node":null,"orig_images":["http:\/\/ludumdare.com\/compo\/wp-content\/compo2\/\/570486\/54723-shot0-1472522368.png-eq-900-500.jpg"],"text":"My second attempt at Ludum Dare, and the first one I submitted. This submission is far from a playable game and has multiple bugs and no real point yet. The only reason I'm submitting it, is because considering all the complications I went through and having literally no experience with most tools I used, I think it turned out ok and if I had time to fix all the bugs, it could have turned out fine. I would be grateful if you could rate it with this in mind and give me helpful criticism, if you can. I know it's way buggy to be playable, but maybe you can find some value in it.\r\n\r\nI will update this post (hopefully) with an updated, bug-fixed version of the game with controller support here, even though I understand that it may not affect my Ludum Dare scoring.\r\n\r\n---\r\n\r\nThis game is basically a two-player fighting game, where both opponents invent better technologies to be able to fight. The game is played by two caveman, in a jungle, thus the \"ancient\" theme. The weapon upgrades are supposed to symbolise the technological advancement the caveman did, to improve their fighting abilities.\r\n\r\nKeyboard Controls:\r\n- First Player:\r\n  c: Modifier\r\n  v: Crouch\r\n  b: Attack\r\n  space: Jump\r\n  wasd: Movement\r\n\r\n- Second Player:\r\n  u: Modifier\r\n  i: Crouch\r\n  o: Attack\r\n  l: Jump\r\n  arrow keys: Movement\r\n\r\n---\r\n\r\nThank you for taking the time to review my game!","title":"Jungle Fighters"}
