Alone in a cave by orseoste7o
Hey everybody, here is my game. Keep the monsters (the evil black things with red eyes) away from the person, who is trying to get too the far right of the screen. Features randomly generated terrain/dirt textures, high scores, and difficulty levels. Enjoy!

However, even though the concept is good, the game was not quite fun yet. It became repetitive way too fast. Maybe add some levers to pull, buttons to push? The sounds didn't help either.
Some suggestions:
- The score is always the same, 1 point per level, regardless of the difficulty. Make higher difficulties award more points!
- There is a bug where if a mountain is generated that takes the character off screen from above, the level is considered completed when the character leaves through the top.
- Tweak level generation to avoid those "off screen mountains".
- Try less harsh sounds.
Good luck with your game!
I loved how it's not you doing the level, but the one protecting the person.
Game is started before generation/lighting is done?!
Anyway, it was OK :)
There's not much sense of progression, though. It felt like the game wasn't getting any more difficult and that I was just doing the same thing over and over again, which got boring quite quickly.
At one point I lost because the character was walking on a tile near the bottom of the window, and a monster appeared at the bottom of the screen right next to the character and killed him before I had a chance to do anything. That's a bit unfair and you probably should have guarded against that happening.
The sound effects are annoying.
It is a tad boring, as every level is exactly the same, and the sound effects a bit annoying. The concept and the mood are great.
