At least some of the critical components are missing; the alien fleets don't attack, and there's no win\/lose conditions, among other things. I also completely forgot to display all the critical information; food, water and fuel consumption. Sadly, I must agree with @Shigor that this isn't exactly a prototype (from Wikipedia, &quot;a prototype is an incomplete version of software, built so users can experience some of the proposed features or properties&quot;). There is very little to experience here, besides the (very general) idea. I'd like to see it finished, but for now it's impossible to even tell if this is going to be playable at all.\r<br\/>If you're aiming for the Jam, definitely bring some friends next time, this should really speed up the development. So, I'm not expecting high ratings (don't be too mean tho!) instead I just wanted to get something in so I could point to it and say, \"I did that!\".\r\n\r\nUPDATE: Yes, I'm aware that I neglected to tell anyone what is supposed to happen in this game; I had meant to post an update with some fixes but day_job() has been running somewhat constantly. So here's a brief rundown on what is happening.\r\nThe red dots are planets. Move along, nothing to see here, yet.\r\nThe Blue dots are enemy fleets. Don't worry, they don't attack you right now..\r\nThe green dot is your fleet. You can't see it, but there's 41 ships in there, and they all consume food, water and fuel each time you \"jump\". You jump by clicking a spot in space that's within jump range of the fleet (yeah, I know, can't see it right?) and then hit end of turn.\r\nWoo, tonnes of fun right? Yeah, it's a prototype, not really a game, but I like the idea so PostCompo revs might have some interesting revisions.<\/p>","title":"The Remnants"}
