Saving Steve by Exolun

[raw]
made by Exolun for LD35 (COMPO)
Saving Steve is a game where your objective is to save Steve (the protagonist) from his grisly demise by shifting the level to prevent his death.

You have no control over Steve! Use the Arrow keys to move hazards and dart launchers in an effort to save him!

Note: You may need to turn the volume down. Some users have reported it being very loud on startup!

Maybe lower the skill curve. Introduce each element individually so the player can learn what each thing does in a "save" enviroment

Great game. Really smart mechanic and overall presentation. Really funny game, and it's a nice surprise being able to control the dungeon and not the hero. Nice work!

Really nice idea! I found it very hard to properly time moving the turrets, but the concept is really clever! would love to see more of it

THis game is lots of fun! I really like the mechanic and I think you did it very well, the levels are challenging but doable with a few tries. The graphics and the music were a little barebones, but the humor made up for that.

good job on your entry, I thought that it was fun and amusing all at the same time.

Really good concept with the controlling of the dungeon itself. My only criticism is that the controls are very sensitive which makes positioning the guns awkward.

I liked this a lot. The difficulty curve definitely needs work, but the way the puzzles work, and the way you used the theme were very good.

good concept for a game. Felt like it all came down to trial and error a bit though.

I couldn't get past the second screen, despite many, many attempts. Otherwise, this looked like a fun idea which could just use a shallower difficulty curve. I could see this idea working as a full game with some extra polish. Well done. :)

HUMOR ON POINT.
Had a lot of fun with this, it's a clever core mechanic.
On top of that, you kept me laughing through the whole thing.
Awesome job.
