This gave me the same feel as the original Castlevania. Extremely fun, and the skeletons are that perfect level of difficulty. Excellent job except for the music :P

I wish you could hit the blue blobs when they are a block above you without crouching (but they are too high)

Love the death melody :D Good job on the game! Music is indeed a bit annoying after a while :P

Pretty fun! Nice little gameboy soundtrack and SFX. I hate those blue blobs!

Easy to see how you could turn in other monsters in an expansion. I was hoping I'd turn into a skeleton if I killed skeletons.

With the font, it took me a moment to realize I had to press Z instead of 2. Otherwise, great game and fitting sound effects!

Hahah awesome game man! Though the graphics aren't technically impressive, they go super well with the audio and the feel of the game. The mechanics feel really solid and like I'm in complete control of whats going on. The shape shifting twist is used really well, I like how you can get through the game without it but its there for those parts you just would rather not deal with. One of the few Ludum Dare games that I actually had fun playing and wanted to finish :D

this game looks like something I really want to play, but how the hell do I play it? I have it all unzipped in a folder and maybe it's just the sleep deprivation but I can't for the life of me figure how to get the game to play. Can you post some download instructions?

I felt so nice playing this game. It was a perfect retro styled game. Graphics, sound, difficulty. Well done!

Hi, nice game ! We're realizing a video with several games of the Ludum Dare #35.
Can you add your game on indiexpo.net ? (it's free)
So we can include also your game in the video ;)
p.s. write #LDJAM in the game's description

Good castlevania demake! It really had a similar feel. I liked the clean graphics, and the small death and level complete jingles were a nice touch.
