Escape the Wolf: OHR by James Paige
ESCAPE THE WOLF!
Run AWAY!
...but if you run too long, you get tired.
And where is that dang cabin anyway? This forest is HUGE!
---------------------------------------------------------
Created with the OHRRPGCE (although I ended up scripting almost everything)
For the Linux OHRRPGCE player, go here:
http://rpg.hamsterrepublic.com/ohrrpgce/Linux_Notes
Just use the escapewolf.rpg data file from either the Windows or the Mac zip file.
(although escapewolf.exe works in wine if you are lazy)
Game data is escapewolf.rpg
Game scripts are escapewolf.hss

I never understood how to "escape" though. I tried going in 1 direction for a long time.. then I tried another direction, niether seemed to get me anywhere. It seemed neverending.
Care to let us in how you actually get out? :)
<SPOILERS>
The cabin location is random, but you will never find it by running just one direction in a straight line from your starting point.
Your footprints (and the footprints of the wolf) are permanent, so you can use them to eliminate areas you have already explored.
The forest is not endless, it wraps.
