This is my first game ever.
It includes the first three themes of the compo : Escape, Self-replication and Adaptation.
I'm not a native english speaker, so, I suppose there are plenty of english mistakes. Sorry.
It should be playable on Mac with Boot Camp.
Left click to walk and interact. You also can use arrows keys to walk.
[Edit 22/08 : There are two ending (Fail/Win).

The game was made with Adventure Game Studio with the "KeyboardMovement" module, GraphicsGale and Audacity.

Nice game mate, even if i'm not a adventure game fan, i'm a sucker for meta stuff (you know, stuff like this: http://www.mpls.tv/2011/08/18/ive-never-meta-pizza-i-didnt-like/)

Neat game, though it could use some sound. I'm not really sure what you're trying to say with it...it feels a little like "Every Day the Same Dream" mixed with cynicism about gamedev...Keep working on it and make it even better :)

As you said, I might have been inspired by everyday the same dream, a game I really love, but my main inspiration was the Adaptation movie. This is a great and quite boring movie, and I wondered if I could make a great and quite boring game. Finally, I'm not sure it's really great ^^.
Yeah, I'd like to add more sounds (there are few of them if you find the correct ending) but I'm not good at it. But I think i'm gonna work again on the project, I like it.

This is pretty cool. I think it has a strong connection to everyone participating in the competition. Congrats on making your first game ever.

Launching went to a black screen, that had a window, the contents of which were also black. Mouse didn't work. I had to mash the keyboard until I found whatever key got me out of there.

@Siebharinn : I'm sorry. A friend reported me the exact same problem and I don't know where it is from. Can you play some other AGS games ? like this one : http://www.ludumdare.com/compo/ludum-dare-21/?action=preview&uid=5587 ? My friend couldn't either...so it may come from the software...

This was a lot of fun and very awesome for your first Ludum Dare. I especially enjoyed the references to actual LD games and the metaness. I didn't expect so much content, very well done. Also: Yay for ponies!

I took me a while to figure out what to do. Especially at the beginning of the game I had to do stuff randomly until something worked. A bit more guidance would have been nice.

Loved the meta-game (and as all participants, I can really identify myself to the hero), but would have appreciated some hints. A bit difficult to get to the next step forced me to brute force everything.

For your first game, you did not disappoint :)
